Biography of Sean Cunningham
Manager of Information Systems Security, Arizona Public Service
Sean Cunningham is the manager of Information Systems Security (ISS) at Arizona Public Service (APS). Based in Phoenix, APS is Arizona’s largest electric company and serves nearly 1.2 million customers across the state.
Cunningham has more than 30 years of experience managing information systems, technology and technical staff. Cunningham joined APS in 1997 and has held various technical management roles. Cunningham became the manager of ISS in 2012. In his role, Cunningham is responsible for protecting the availability, integrity and confidentiality of APS information and systems. Cunningham has oversight for implementing and communicating system strategies, policies and standards to ensure APS’s information assets are secure.
Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, a Masters Certificate in Business from Auburn University and is working on his Master of Science degree in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from Utica College.
