Biography of Juliet Okafor
VP of Global Business Development, Fortress Information Security
Juliet Okafor is currently the Co-Chairwoman of the Strategic Advisory Board and Chair of the Fundraising Committee for ICMCP. She is also the VP of Global Business Development for Fortress Information Security, third-party risk architects for Fortune 500 enterprises within critical infrastructure industries. As ICMCP’s first female Co-Chair, Jules leads strategic planning and roadmap development for strategic initiatives and community outreach. She spends much of her time listening to the obstacles experienced by the largest global corporations and government agencies regarding building a diverse workforce before identifying opportunities, programs, tools and processes that ICMCP can leverage to expand diversity and inclusion programs. Her passion for problem-solving, and love for finding solutions to complex challenges, drives all avenues of her work and will help to steer the direction of ICMCP as it continues to grow. At UMass-Amherst, Jules was appointed as Secretary for Diversity Issues, a position designed specifically for her. She remains the first and only African-American woman to ever hold that position. She graduated from UMass-Amherst (B.A. Communication), Fordham University (M.A. Public Communication and Media Studies) and received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University – Beasley School of Law.
